What's the main Target Demographic?

  • Minecraft clearly attracts males as its primary user demographic. 69% of males play the game. 31% of females play the game. Therefore more males play as its more appealing to them and appeals to their needs of a perfect game.
How does Minecraft appeal the audience?
  • Firstly, Minecraft is for all ages so its a game for everyone to play. Its attracts people from even the younger audience.
  • The variety of different modes is certainly a contributing factor to the games success, but also in the way which audiences can control and shape their own worlds and create new identities through mods and alterning textures.
  • YouTube can also link to this as lots of people watch Minecraft videos, gaining millions of views, which means that Minecraft has a wide audience. Up to 4 million people play Minecraft.


Which of the Rubicams 4C's does it appeal to?
  • I think it appeals to Succeeders in a sense because they have got what they have and want to control it. They can control how they play the game.
What media is Minecraft?
  • Minecraft is a 3D sandbox game owned my Mojang Studios.

What is an Evaluation? An evaluation is to pick out what you achieved well and what you can improve on in your work.
