Definition of Mind Map A mind map is a diagram in which information is represented visually, usually with a central idea placed in the middle and associated ideas arranged around it. It is usually colourful, stimulated with images, wide and broad filled with loads of ideas. Definition of Spider Diagram A spider diagram organizes and displays data in a logical, visual way. As a mind map, it contains the main concept arranged in the middle of the diagram, but without images or colours, just your ideas alone. Its like a little draft to craft your ideas down quickly.  Audience theory based on: Minecraft What's the main Target Demographic? Minecraft clearly attracts males as its primary user demographic. 69% of males play the game. 31% of females play the game. Therefore more males play as its more appealing to them and appeals to their needs of a perfect game. How does Minecraft appeal the audience? Firstly, Minecraft is for all ages so its a game for everyone to play. Its attracts people from even the younger audience. The variety of different modes is certainly a contributing factor to the games success, but also in the way which audiences can control and shape their own worlds and create new identities through mods and alterning textures. YouTube can also link to this as lots of people watch Minecraft videos, gaining millions of views, which means that Minecraft has a wide audience. Up to 4 million people play Minecraft. My mood board   Producers and institutions will have a typical audience member in mind when they create then text. Demographics  - Audiences are identified in term of their social class, age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, relationship status, family. Psychographics -  Audiences are identified by their motivation and needs, desires, aspirations, like, dislikes, comments, value. Young and Rubicams 4 C's Mainstreamers - largest segment. Seek security in conformity and buy established brands. Aspires - Motivation is to status. They buy smart, high tech and high fashion goods. Succeeders - Climbed the ladder and now want to keep control of what they have Reformers - Want to make the world a better place.
